Today was a busy day for the kids! They moved from the general population area to the penthouse suite (ok, the isolation room...). Lilly and Davis are now sharing a separate room away from all the other kids. This is because Lilly is a carrier of MRSA. We kinda like the room because it is more private. We also love that we now have an unlimited supply of plastic gowns and gloves at our disposal... I'm starting to dig the whole plastic clothes thing, and I think I've lost about 40 pounds since we started wearing them. Actually, most of our nurses have been nice and let us slide on the gown thing while in the room (Thanks, Karen, Sarah and Allison!) We only have to wear them when we hold the kids.
Lilly was struggling on her CPAP today, so they went to a higher setting (bi-phasic... It puffs air at a set rate to help remind her to take a breath). Davis is doing well with his CPAP.
Weigh in time... Davis jumped ahead of Lilly in weight! Davis weighs 2 pounds and 12 ounces! Lilly weighs 2 pounds and 11 ounces.
