Lilly and Davis' Story

Lilly Mae and Davis Anthony were born on Sunday, December 4th. They were born at 25 weeks and 5 days of gestation.

Lilly was born first at 9:56PM. She weighed 1 pound and 14 ounces and was 13.25 inches long. Her head was 24 cm in circumference (slightly smaller than a baseball).

Davis was born at 10:07PM... 11 minutes after his sister (something she'll never let him forget). He weighed 1 pound and 13 ounces. He was 13 inches long and had the same size head as his sister.

Both were taken to the NICU directly after delivery and are expected to be there until their original due date, March 12th (that's exactly 100 days in the NICU!)

Please keep these little ones in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully we will get to bring them home sooner!

Day 58 - 1/30/12

Day 58...

Today was a great day! They moved Davis back to the regular flow nasal cannulas. They also took Lilly off the CPAP and moved her to the high flow nasal cannulas! Both kids are handling the changes well! It's great to get to see the kids without masks on their face!



Lindsey also got to hold both kids at the same time today! This is the first time we've done this and the kids seemed to like being next to each other!



Davis also passed the 4 pound milestone today! He weighs 4 pounds and 1 ounce. Lilly is up to 3 pounds and 8 ounces!

    YAY YAY YAY!!!! Happy 4 pounds DAVIS!!!! Remember when you were trailing sissy.... you go!!!!! Lilly will catch up before you know it!!!!! Holy Moly nasal cannulas... look at you babies go go go!!!! WONDERFUL POST... i love reading about these two babies.... warms my heart so much! Made me giggle when you made sure we knew Davis is in blue and lilly in the pink!!!! LOL I bet holding them together was such an amazing moment!!!!! So happy for you... all 4 of you!!!!!
